BUILDING COMMUNITIES THROUGH FILM
IMFF RESCHEDULED +
The Indie Meme Film Festival has been postponed to a later date out of an abundance of caution with concerns of risk of exposure to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has publicly deemed the health risk of coronavirus for the general American public to be low at this time.
That said, we want to be sure to be supportive of what is in the best interest of the community we serve & the safety and well-being of all our patrons.
The charm of a festival is in part going to a theater, meeting people, discussing the movie and associated topics, meeting filmmakers etc and we want to be sure we provide our audience that opportunity to bond and engage freely. Unfortunately these activities are associated with a high risk of exposure to virally transmitted infections. We would like to thank our incredible sponsors, volunteers, members and supporters who have made it possible to organize IMFF2020.
Now we are focusing on our commitment to continue to bring you the best of Independent Cinema from South Asia in a safe way. We have planned online movie screenings for our badge holders and members - you can still sign up to be a member to get access to these at-home screenings and to support us!
We sincerely hope that you will continue to be a part of ‘Team Meme’ as we navigate the situation and find the next possible time/venue for IMFF2020. Stay Tuned for rescheduled dates.
