An Unquiet Mind

For a long time, mainstream media has portrayed obsessive - compulsive disorder (OCD) as a quirky and funny personality trait associated with hand-washing or flipping light switches. In reality, OCD can look very different. There is a whole world of

less visible, yet common forms of OCD that many sufferers are afraid to speak about.

AN UNQUIET MIND follows the stories of Natasha and Vinay, two individuals who struggle with Harm OCD, Post-Partum OCD, and Pedophilia OCD.

The misunderstandings around these “taboo” types of OCD have created a culture of shame. Through this film, we aim to build a movement of greater understanding and support for those living with this illness.

Texas Jaanu

ZOYA (26), a bold immigrant from India, is navigating Austin on her own terms when she meets amateur filmmaker NATHAN (23). She joins him and his friends LUCY (24) and HAWKE (22) to make a zero-budget film, discovering her creative voice in the process. Her husband AAMIR (29), a rigid software engineer, feels threatened by her eccentric new life. To reconnect with Zoya, Aamir must shed his rigidity and embrace spontaneity, discovering his own capacity for joy and romance.

New Moon Rain

A devoted father from Nepal, a moment of discipline toward his daughter, so ordinary where he came from, leaves marks that speak differently in the USA. Accusations rise, careers fall, and the home he built turns away. As whispers of judgment close in, memories of his parents offer solace before he disappears into the new moon night.
