To Kill a Tiger Screening | #StandWithHer Event

Join us for a special reception, screening, and conversation of the 2024 Oscar®-nominated documentary To Kill a Tiger, followed by an insightful conversation on Wednesday, March 26th at 5:00 pm CST at Hotel Vegas, 1502 E. 6th St, Austin, TX 78702 for a pre-reception and 7:00 pm CST for a screening at the Hyperreal Film Club Austin, 301 Chicon St Suite A, Austin, TX 78702. 

The post-screening conversation, featuring Director, Nisha Pahuja, Director of Community Outreach, Education and Prevention, AFSSA, Zahra Shakur Jamal, and Founder and Executive Director of SAAVETX Education Fund, Chanda Parbhoo, moderated by Parisa Mahmud, Prevention Advocate at AFFSA, will highlight grassroots action and survivor-centered support are key to addressing GBV in the South Asian diaspora. Shifting narratives, dismantling stigma, and uniting advocates can drive real change. #StandWithHer is a movement that calls on all of us to take action for a more just and equitable world.
