Chhaya tells a story of a very poor girl from a remote village in the interiors of Maharashtra. Circumstances there force her & others mature at a young age. The girl is striving to hide certain things from society, but an incident forces her to become stronger to keep her family intact.
About the Artist
Pushkar Shrotri is well known writer-director from Marathi Film Industry. His films Haay Kaay... Naay Kaay and Ubuntu have received tremendous appreciation globally. He is known for his simple but thought provoking subjects through his films.
