About the Artist
Adil Hussain's vast experience, spans over 10 years of theater across Europe, Africa, and India, and he has over 80 films under his belt! He has won numerous awards including 5 Best Actor awards. Credits include Ang Lee's Oscar winning 'Life of Pi', Subhashish Bhutiani's 'Hotel Salvation/Mukti Bhavan', Iram Haq's 'What Will People Say', Prakash Jha's 'Pareeksha', Gautam Ghosh's 'The Wayfarer', Danis Tanovic's 'Tigers', Mira Nair's 'The Reluctant Fundamentalist', Pan Nalin's 'Angry Indian Goddesses', Partho Sen-Gupta's 'Sunrise', Italo Spinelli's 'Gangor', Prashant Nair's 'Umrika', Leena Yadav's 'Parched' and Bauddhayan Mukherji's 'The Violin Player' .
Hussain has been the artistic director and trainer of the Society for Artists and Performers in Hampi, and a visiting faculty at Royal Conservatory of Performing Arts, The Hague. He is also a visiting faculty at his alma mater, the National School of Drama.
