He developed various projects at the school in collaboration with mentors with diverse backgrounds, helping him grow through a deepening understanding of the craft and an ongoing consolidation of his own worldview. His debut feature film “Meghdoot/The Cloud Messenger” was in the Tiger Competition at The International Film Festival of Rotterdam 2022 and further travelled to BFI London Film Festival, São Paulo International Film Festival and several other festivals across the globe. The film recently won the Special Jury Mention at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival. < Our Team Sreedhara Sen Bhasin Executive Board Secretary Sree (Sreedhara) Sen Bhasin is an education technology professional and a creative writer. She is the Founder-Director of the Indian division of Tk20 Inc., now a part of Watermark Insights., and served as the Division Head and VP of International Operations. Leading collaborative business initiatives internationally and mentoring young men and women, many of whom were first-generation college graduates, were a life-altering experience for her. She worked for many years as a syndicated columnist for The Tribune, India. Her adventures overseas are chronicled in her blog: sreeatlarge.com. Sree is also a museum educator at the Elisabet Ney Museum and a member of the Friends of the Ney. An ardent film buff, she believes the magical world of cinema helps us understand what it means to exist in a unified world, holds a transformative sway over how we view it, and to live expansively.

< Our Team Staff Justin Stevens Volunteer Coordinator Justin Stevens serves as the organization's Volunteer Coordinator. While this is his first year with Indie Meme, he has worked with three Austin Film Festivals over the past four years including Austin Asian American Film Festival and the Austin Jewish Film Festival and serves on the board for aGLIFF. He is looking forward to helping make the 10th IMFF one of the very best! Justin moved to the Austin area in 1999 and in his time has worked for many of the radio stations across the city before pivoting to account management. With a proven track record in client satisfaction and retention, Justin would eventually land in the job industry where he has helped clients with their talent acquisition needs for nearly 7 years and now helps to craft hiring strategies for XL Enterprise clients at Indeed.

< Our Team Staff Uma Riddle Program Manager Indie Meme Archival Project Uma is a UT Austin graduate with an interest in South Asian and International cinema, Documentary filmmaking, and Geography. She has been working with Indie Meme for over two years as an intern, a member of programming, and now is the Project Manager for the Indie Meme Archival Project.

< Our Team Ananyaa Ravi Festival Team Festival Programming Product Manager by day, Ananyaa reached out to Indie Meme about volunteering in 2018 - soon after moving to Austin. Since then, she's been amazed by the community & art at IM. She always looking for films with an eye for the absurd. Her feel good films are Andaaz Apna Apna and Booksmart. She's excited to be with Indie Meme on the new leg of this festival's journey.
