THE PORTRAITS is a collection of six cinematic sketches that depict the various means by which fascist governments conspire to silence their own people.
From the state hunting down citizens for suspected Maoist links to suppression of the people
's struggles against ecocide, mechanization, and labour exploitation - the film investigates scenes of resistance and complacency.
The film serves as a single canvas where all the different faces of state tyranny against its people come together, forming a collage that depicts the grotesque portrait of fascism.
